Condensation

The process by which vapour is converted to liquid, often by contact with a cold surface on which droplets of liquid then begin to form. Condensation is an essential part of the steam cycle, where the steam is cooled and condensed to a liquid after passing through the turbine, e.g. by cooling water from the cooling towers.
